Alpha Omega Employees Demonstrate their Generosity and Donate Over $1000 in Gifts!
Alpha Omega Integration, LLC (Alpha Omega) employees came together over the last few weeks to provide for Northern Virginia Family Services’ Gifting for Families program. Employees had the opportunity to bring new toys to their office locations or Alpha Omega’s corporate holiday party; donate gift cards to the organizers for donation; or go online and make monetary contributions towards the gifting program. This program serves families throughout Northern Virginia that have received services from NVFS throughout the last year. Selection for the program is based on need and recommendation from the case managers. Participant families receive one or more toys for their children over the holiday season. Most family recipients live below poverty level and have little financial ability to provide new toys for their children making this a stressful and difficult season. As one of many corporate providers, Alpha Omega’s contributions will give gifts to approximately 40 of the over 2,000 children served by NVFS through this holiday program.
Alpha Omega maintains a focus on giving back to the community, and is dedicated to providing support to our neighbors in need. Through the Gifting for Families Program, we strive to make the holiday season a little brighter for children who may otherwise be forgotten. “We want to do something that will have a lasting impact in our community, and all Alpha Omega employees are encouraged to support initiatives such as the Gifting for Families Program” said Sujani Rangareddy, CEO of Alpha Omega.
“I have worked with NVFS for many years and seen the positive results they accomplish with their services. This gifting program helps the families feel less stress so they can focus on their path to self-sufficiency.” explained Michelle Reeves, Alpha Omega employee and co-organizer (with Rahul Gundala) for the donations.
