Gautam Ijoor Named CEO of Alpha Omega Integration, LLC
Sujani Rangareddy Steps Down as Company Growth Explodes, Citing a Need for Experienced Leadership at the Mid-Sized Business Level.
Alpha Omega Integration, LLC has named President Gautam Ijoor to the role of CEO and President. Sujani Rangareddy will retire from the company at the end of the month. “I am proud of all we have done to make Alpha Omega a growing force within the government contracting community,” she said. “My role is finished but Gautam and the Executive Team at Alpha Omega will continue to aggressively push for excellence and achievement.”
Alpha Omega has been a successful Woman-owned Small Business in the federal contracting market growing from $1 million to over $50 million yearly revenue in under 4 years. The SBA’s WOSB program is a great initiative to empower women, especially because the US Government estimates that over a billion IT dollars will be set-aside for to support WOSB.
Gautam Ijoor said, “It’s important to us at Alpha Omega that we respect the parameters of SBA’s program requirements for “certified woman owned;” woman-owner controlling the business and being involved in the day-to-day operations,” he said. “With the change in ownership and CEO status, Alpha Omega will lose the WOSB status and potentially it will shrink our sales funnel. Staying true to our core values, one of which is to foster integrity, we will be successful in the long run. Choices we make today go a long way in defining who we are as a company.”
Recognized for his stewardship of the organization and its culture, Mr. Ijoor is passionate about providing excellence to his customers at all levels. He currently oversees sales, finance and client services and lends his vision to planning, identifying and capturing business opportunities and building relationships. Mr. Ijoor is equally passionate about his teams and has initiated one of the most active mentoring programs in the region, focusing especially on women’s empowerment and professional development. Alpha Omega addresses leadership and mentoring openly. Currently two women sit on their senior executive team: Carole Adolphe, VP of Finance, and Jessica Langlais, HR Director.
Mr. Ijoor is no stranger to the concept of the women’s empowerment. As a father and leader, his goal is to create opportunities within the company for women to be autonomous, stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving and allowing them a voice. Providing mentoring and professional development will create the next generation of leaders and builds character, confidence, and strength in today’s workforce.
With 22 years in government contracting, Mr. Ijoor has a proven track record of driving businesses to expand their presence and exceed growth and profit objectives. He has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and an MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
